The point of land across the Neponset River from Milton Landing will become accessible by a converted trestle bridge.

The Neponset River Greenway will be a ten mile pedestrian/bike trail, running from the mouth of the Neponset River to the 894 acre Fowl Meadows in Hyde Park. These two railroad bridges and their approach paths will provide critical pedestrian access from the Lower Mills and Milton neighborhoods to the riverside paths. The Trestle bridges recall the industrial history of the site where Bakers chocolate was produced for more than 200 years, until 1969.

Located at Lower Mills in Dorchester and Milton.
